For Education

Covid-19 is the biggest challenge we all have encountered in our life time and it has affected all parts of our society especially the poor students who are struggling to survive as many have lost their earning members, parents or livelihood.  Many students have dropped out of school due to economic crisis.

In the second wave of Covid many students have lost either of their parents or both who were the key earning members in the family. Many have lost the livelihood and are facing crisis to make their ends meet. This resulted in students deciding to drop out of schools causing them to be deprived of quality education. We identified the students who were dropping out of our school due to loss of earning members or Livelihood. In this process we identified 41 Students who need the support of free education.

To help these students, we from Grand Valley Public School Samiti, have provided free education by waiving off the Tution fees. However, we need funds to support these students with Books, Stationeries, Uniform, Shoes, Transport and other expenses as these expenses are to be made to other vendors to support Students for free education.

Objectives
In last couple of years we have already supported 10 students to get free education, gave space to Para Badminton Players. Now we need to step up the efforts, as COVID 19 has impacted many families & have left them devastated.

If we impart education, it will make not only make the Student independent but will also give them options to pursue the dreams.

Following are the Objectives of the program:

•Help students get Quality education for free till 12th Standard.
•Help students to be independent & make sure education doesn’t gets impacted

Solution:
Target : To give free education up to 12th  standard 
Grand Valley will Sponsor the 50% School Fee. But for other expenses, we need sponsors.
Beneficiary : Applicant should be a Student,  who lost key earning member or their family members lost their livelihood due to Covid-19
Location: Based out of Lucknow.
Physical verification: will be done by visiting personally at the students’ home and collecting all the required documents.

Key Outcome – Short Term

Following are some of the expected outcome of the program. 
1.School Dropouts will reduce due to Financial Impact.
2.Students will get educated & can fulfill their dreams.
3.Financial burden on Guardians will be reduced and they can focus on other requirements of the child where as we can focus on education.

Key Outcome – Long Term

•Educated, well groomed Students will be ready to take up the challenge, than getting lost in the sea of poverty, for no fault of theirs.
